Disney has released the first trailer for the new live-action adaptation of The Lion King during the Thanksgiving day NFL game.
The trailer reveals the first look at the live-action Simba (Donald Glover voice) and the live-action Mufasa (James Earl Jones voice). It has been displayed during the Thanksgiving day NFL game.
This first look also shows the re-creation of the most iconic scenes where Rafiki (John Kani voice) holds up the newborn Simba.

The King Mufasa from the new live-action version
James Earl Jones returns in the voice for the role of King Mufasa same as 1994 original movie.
The trailer begins with multiples scenes of the animal's troops in Pride Rock, with Lion king Mufasa saying that 'Everything the light touches, is our kingdom.'
It also shows the cub "Simba" comparing his paw to his father "Mufasa" full-grown paw print. as he says:'One day, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king,' Mufasa says.
The trailer ends with Mufasa roaring at an unseen enemy, mostly his evil brother "Scar".
The movie cast includes the all-stars Seth Rogen as the warthog Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as the wise-cracking meerkat Timon, Chiwetel Ejiofor as the nefarious lion Scar, John Oliver as the hornbill Zasu and Keegan-Michael Key as the hyena Kamari.
Disney has put the 19/072019 release date for The new re-creation version.
The movie will be one of 10 movies Disney release in 2019 (could be the studio's biggest year to date) , which the lion king is currently the only movie slated for release on that date.
Other Disney movies opening next year include Dumbo (March 29), Avengers 4 (May 3, 2019), Toy Story 4 (June 21, 2019) and Star Wars 9 (December 20, 2019).
